Timmy’s new toddler bible

by robinrussell52

*We were given The Big Book of Bible Stories for Toddlers from BH Publishing Group to help us facilitate our review. All thoughts and opinions are based on our experience and are 100% our own.

Our big kids have been attending a Master’s Club at a local church. They are memorizing bible verses, learning God’s truths and being loved on at the same time. It has been a blessing. Timmy not wanting to be left out asks us every week if he can attend, too. It will be a few years yet before he will be old enough. He cannot wait until he can be a big kid and do big kid things.

Maddie and the twins were working on their weekly scripture memorization. Timmy not wanting to be left out also asked to practice his. He not only wanted to practice memorizing scripture, he wanted a bible of his own. I looked around the house sure we had a toddler bible on our bookshelf. We love The Jesus Storytime bible, but I could not find it anywhere.

Thankfully BH Publishing had me covered with The Big Book of Bible Stories for Toddlers. This Bible will stand up to his toddler antics, but will give him the confidence and excitement of being “just like the big kids.” It is kid tested, and mommy approved.

It has a soft, sturdy, colorful cover. It is Timmy’s favorite color, blue. It also has thick, sturdy board book type pages. For him, this is perfect, because he has a history of giving books a short life.

Each page gives parents short takeaways to talk about with their toddler. Easy questions, with easy answers to help dive into the heart of the verse a little deeper, but not so much it will completely go over their heads.

I cannot wait to spend time reading what I am sure to become Timmy’s favorite new book.
