Enter the LeapFrog, LeapPad Ultimate tablet giveaway

by robinrussell52

*We were given a LeapFrog, LeapPad Ultimate to help facilitate our review. All thoughts and opinions are based on our experience, are honest and entirely ours.

Christmas and birthdays are right around the corner at our house. Toy catalogs have arrived, and are looked through daily. Sometimes, often, multiple times during the day. It is unusual if an electronic is not on their list.

LeapFrog Tablet

As a social media manager and a blogger, I know online stranger danger is present and real. My kids are not old enough to be on Facebook, Snapchat or many of the other popular social media platforms. The age requirement for many of them is 13.

We have allowed electronics into our home. We believe it is better to educate our kids how to use these tools properly than to ban them from it all together. We have also instructed them to be open and honest if an ad pop-ups or they find themselves somewhere they should not be online. Similar to if something feels weird to them in real life, we want them to be alert and aware if something feels weird online.

We monitor closely the games and apps our kids use. We have parental controls set for what they can search and where they can go in the internet world.

Maddie is allowed a little more freedom than the twins or Timothy. One of the ways we have found to tackle many of these concerns is with LeapFrog tablets.

We love our LeapPad Ulitmate. It works perfectly for Naomi, Titus, and Timothy as it is for ages 3-9 years of age. It has wi-fi, a battery life of up to six hours (which is great for when we are traveling) and has a two-year warranty.

You can purchase cartridge games, or you can access downloadable games from the LeapFrog store.

I love it because our kids are learning while having fun. I also like how it has stood up to Timmy’s toddler antics. He has dropped, thrown and tried to chew on the tablet. If it can live up to him, it can live up to just about anything.

We are thankful LeapFrog continues to put out products that prove to be kid tested and mother approved.

We have never had a LeapFrog tablet or anything but my kids love our LeapFrog farm animal magnets. 🙂 I think my older three especially would love a tablet though!
