Celebrating the Kid in Us All at Celebrations *Party *Gifts *Toys

by robinrussell52

*I received products from Celebrations Party, Gifts, and Toys to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100% honest and my own.

As a little girl I would often walk up and down the sidewalks of Albert Lea’s downtown with my mom. One of the stores my mom frequently shopped in was Celebrations Party & Gifts. Before we even entered the shop I knew what was expected of me, stay as close to my mom as possible and keep my hands in my pockets. I am excited to tell you times have changed. Tami Staker, the owner of the store, has done an incredible job of turning her store into a place kids of all ages love to visit.

I recently went to Celebration *Party *Gifts *Toys with my sister and our kids. As we walked into the store we were greeted by Tami and her friendly staff. My kids were actually encouraged to play with the demo toys in various places around the store.

My nephew Owen was drawn to the kinetic sand.

Titus and Maddie were drawn to the toy kitchen.

Naomi immediately found the hot dog cart and a little later their pop star dress up costumes.

As a parent I was excited to find out that Tami stocks a wide selection of Melissa & Doug toys. I have always liked this companies line of toys. They continually stand up to my kids wear and tear.

I watched my kids play around in the store and I loved what I saw. They were encouraged to use their imaginations, draw out their creativity, inspired to learn, and were having fun. From stacking toys, stuff animals, and wooden trains to cars, story boards, and pretend cleaning sets. Painting supplies, drawing supplies, and other art supplies. I was thrilled to find that Albert Lea has a toy store!

One of my favorite parts of visiting big cities is visiting their toy stores and now I have one in my very own small town!

The store still has birthday supplies, adorable brunch napkins, and many other beautiful and fun items to help you out with any party supplies you would need. They have the ability to monogram napkins with beautiful lettering, logos, and more. A service I am excited to use for my kids birthday parties.

I need to mention that not only has Tami done a great job of creating a shop I can be proud of in my town. She is also a vital part of helping to bring fun to other parts of Albert Lea. She is one of the many business owners who have helped to bring Wind Down Wednesday  and the Holiday Bazaar to our downtown. She is helping to make Albert Lea an amazing place to live and raise a family.

Celebrations *Party *Gifts*Toys is an example of the importance of shopping local. When we shop local we become part of helping Wind Down Wednesday and other great local events thrive and grow. Thank you Tami for the time and effort you have put into helping our community reach its full potential. We are lucky to have you as a business owner and as a community supporter!
