My sister introduced KTIS’ Joyful Noise to our family three or four years ago. This event is held in Blaine, Minnesota at the National Sports Center. We did not know if we would like it or not and so we decided to only bring Titus with us. I was concerned about keeping track of three kids with the large crowd. I also was not sure how kid friendly the event would be. When we arrived people waited patiently in line, the event goers used please and thank you, and happily waited for others to go in front of them. There was no pushing, shoving or selfish glares. It was incredible, and I could barely believe what I was experiencing.
Joyful Noise 2018
When we waited in line for Titus to jump on the various inflatable slides, bounce houses and obstacle courses I again was expecting rude pushing, shoving, and long lines. The lines were a little long but moved quickly enough our kids were able to wait patiently. The atmosphere at Joyful Noise is unlike anything I have experienced at any other large crowd event.
Memories of Past Joyful Noise Events
Mark and I both agreed we would go back the next year and bring the girls with us. We have enjoyed artist such as The Newsboys, for King & Country, Francesca Battistelli, Jason Gray, Mercy Me, David Crowder, Mandisa, Tenth Avenue North, Unspoken and Tim Timmons.
This year we cannot wait to hear Jason Gray and David Crowder again and Ginny Owens, who are three of my favorite musicians. My kids are excited to hear Mandisa, and for King & Country, both artists always put on a fun, entertaining show with an encouraging, truth-filled message of the hope we have through Jesus Christ.
