We are doing something a little different this year for KTIS, Joyful Noise 2019 music festival. Usually, we go as a family. We enjoy the pure unadulterated family time. We dance, sing, and enjoy our favorite Christian artists together. This year my boys decided they would rather stay home. So we declared it a girls weekend.
My girls and I were so excited when November 1st rolled around. We knew in a few short weeks we would hear the unveiling of the artists who would be performing. Sure enough. Maddie came up with a great idea and asked me if we could please invite some of our closest friends to join us. I thought it was a great idea. I texted one of my buddies who happen to have girls right around Maddie’s age. As it turned out they would love to join us for our fun girls weekend getaway.
I personally am looking forward to sitting in my lawn chair, spending time with a dear friend while singing and dancing. It’s going to feel a little bit like my younger years, but better.
